Hiya, yep yep me again! (sorry)

I want to try this ribbon out - it looks simple I kind of know how to do it I think? At a guess I'd say lay the ribbon flat, pinch in the middle, wrap satin 3/8 round the pinch, glue. Line a barrette and then hot glue it to the clip? Is that about right? I hope so lol!

I tried hunting out 7cm (2 3/4inch) grosgrain because I think thats what the ribbon looks like right? But I can't find any in that width anywhere? So now I'm thinking, is it twill?

Any input or enlightenment would be gratefully received!!
