Default Re: Cutting Korkers With Wood Burner?

I am going to have to try this.

I have been making my korkers the hard way I guess I have been cooking them (250 for 20mins) and then I cut each piece in 3 inch segments and then I burn each end with the woodburner.

This way sounds much better.

Smile Re: Cutting Korkers With Wood Burner?

I also cut mine with a woodburner. I measure, flatten out the ribbon a little, use a metal rule as a straight edge and cut on a piece of glass. My woodburner came with different tips and I use the one that is pointed. It is a very narrow cone - pointed like a thicker pencil tip and it does a great job. I keep the tip as upright as possible and I just draw it through the ribbon pressing against the metal ruler. I hope this helps.
