Default Why won't my e6000 stick?

I am using e6000....and it's winning the battle! I am using it on the covered buttons and bracelet blanks. It is working with some of the buttons and others just peal right off. I made 2 bracelets 3 days ago. Let them cure and still some buttons pull off. Can anyone give me tips?

Here's what I am doing....

I rough up the surface of the blank and the inside of the button
I rub it with rubbing alcohol like the manufacturer recommends
I apply the glue to the blank and stick the button on.

Should I be putting the glue on the inside of the button too?
How much glue do you use?

Ugh! Please please some advice?

I would suggest putting glue on the button and the blank, then wait a few minutes for it to get tacky. I'd also push the two together for a little bit to get an initial hold, HTH!

I would attach it to both pieces (the bracelet and the button) When I use it I either hold it for awhile or I clothespin them together to dry... hth...

Also, if you're not, wait at least 24 hours before you see if they come off. It takes a long time to set good.
