Ribbon Sculpture Question

I love how the sculptures look, so I am considering buying some instructions. But first I need to know how time consuming they are. I realize that each is different, but can anyone give me an estimate or maybe a comparison between let's say a princess sculpture and a large korker?

A princess ribbon scupture takes me about 30 mins... depending if I have any distractions. As far as time comparisons(sp?) to korkers i haven't made those yet. So I'm not sure. HTH.

I also can't compare to a korker, but depending on the sculpture, I'd guess it averages about 30min. I've never timed myself because I do mine in stages. At one sitting I cut and seal all the ribbon. Next I prepare all the pieces. Next I assemble them. Then I attach to clip. Seems I can never sit down and do one from start to finish without distractions LOL!!!

It would maybe take a bit longer the first time you make one, but each time it would be quicker. You can also make several at a time if you do an assembly line.

speaking of the ribbon sculptures, sorry op, off topic! Where do you find your peach/cream aka skin color? I was at ACMoore and all I could find the least bit close, was antique white(cream). . .I didn't get it. Does Micheal's have a bigger selection? I didn't look for it last time I was there! Thanks!

thanks for the offer! Is the ivory basically a cream color? If so I guess the one I saw at acmoore will work. I just wasn't sure if it would be too 'white', lol. I haven't done any 'people' scultures and couldn't remember if you guys actually used a peachy color or not. . .

It took me a half hour to make 2 princesses the other day. It gets faster with practice. It took me 2 hrs to make 1 when I first started.
I use Lt. Ivory for the skin color.
