Thanks for the website. I will check them out. I bought the dowels today and I have the ribbon so I am set to go. Well almost ready...I do have one more question. Do you cut the ribbon to the size you want first or do you wait until the ribbon is "korked"?

I cut the dowel in half so I can put them in the oven. Then wrap the ribbon continously. Cut the ribbon after korked.

I did it!! I cut the dowel in thirds. I wanted it to fit on a cookie sheet. I baked it at 200 for about 35 minutes. I was afraid it would char so I played it safe with the temperature. Once it cooled for about a half an hour I slid it off the rod and now I have one cute Korker ribbon. It is time to cut and glue it on my butterfly so that the baby will quit calling it a flower! She insists that it is a fow er. That is how she says it...too cute!

Thanks everyone for the help.

Okay...I assembled it and my dh said it does look like a butterfly. I personally don't think it looks half as good as Michelle's but it is complete and I am pleased with it. I covered the clip with the same color as the antenae and for some reason it doesn't seem to look right to me. I never was good at color combinations......The real test will be if my dd loves it when she gets up in the morning. I am sure she will as she loves all bow-bows, as she calls them.

Here is an ebay listing that has premade Korker ribbon. Great colors! The pictures are wonderful, and you will get some great color combo ideas too. click on Pick A Theme.
