They don't stink at all. I think that everyone has to start somewhere and this is a learning process. I would like to think that most everyone has had a bow that wasn't "perfectly perky" at one time or another. I still can't quite get the boutique bows to my liking yet, but I am getting there. Keep tweaking, you will get it "just right."

Great idea for getting honest ideas about your work without people feeling like they are insulting you. And kudos to you just for attempting to perfect a layered boutique bow... It makes my head spin just thinking about all the aerodynamics that must go my way to get a decent one-much less a beautiful one. And you are well on your way, IMHO.

Lorraine - you have to specifically check if you want the names to show, otherwise it doesn't

My CC would be only what everyone has already said. That being said a lot of people like the bows with long spikes so....maybe add as an option. Take a great picture of the bow as it is and then if you are going to chop the spikes chop them then take another picture - on your website show both pictures and offer the option of long or short spikes - customizeable spikes type dealy

I also think spikes look better in a v cut shape but that is just me.
Thank you that is a great idea Yeah I like the v too but I have got to get me some good scissors... who would think that would make a big deal but it does when it comes to v

I'm no expert either but I think it would be better if there was a little less red showing. And something seems a bit off with the spikes. I can't put my finger on it. It could be it needs V cuts.
Don't trash it, keep tweaking!

I cut my v's with the wood burner.. I do it all in one step.. I am too lazy to cut with scissors and then go back and seal! lol

I think if you do this then that will be resolved. Your new layered bow looks great.
thank u
