Here is the red/black. I think I will probably like the one with the yellow in it best, but it is the customer's decision. I think she is going to like this one best. If I can get it outlined with paint or crystals I will post another picture. Tomorrow. I'm on eastern time. Thanks so much Sabine! I'll email you pictures.

I was trying to take this one without the flash so it wouldn't glare. I still don't have the whole photo editing thing down.

The tails on the example I cut real quick with scissors, but you can cut'n seal at once with the burner.
Takes some time but looks pretty nice.

What did you use Nancy bo Bancy....I would love to do some simple initials maybe in the same way for school bows.
Very good idea - I don't have an embroidery machine and it would be an option. Transfer paper and ironed on?

Ladies,
yes, it's transfer paper and ironed on....
Just make sure you know your printer (print on high or photo quality and select a setting for the transfers), and know your transfers!.... They're all different from brand to brand, read the instructions and follow religiously!
It takes practice and practice
And remember to flip/mirror the design if you have text in the transfer!

I bought the iron on transfer paper at HL. I have used it to make tee shirts for competitions before. I printed the pdf Sabine sent me on the paper. She arranged it so that 10 of them fit on the paper so I can make 5 bows with one sheet. I used my small scissors to cut out the top of the flames. Then I ironed it on the tails. Tried using the hot knife to cut out the flames on the bottom. I'm impatient. So I cut that part with the scissors as well. Not sure how I'll do the 125 of them.

The coach emailed me and said she likes the all red and black one. So I'm going to send three. One as is. Another I will outline the black with black paint. Another I will hot fix black crystals, maybe black and red over the outline.

This has got my brain working thinking about all the other things that could be ironed on the tails of a plain bow. Problem is that it takes time so the finished bow will cost as much as some of our sequin bows. Well, not a problem for me if it's not a problem for my customers.

I haven't but I will. These are competitive teams so at least they aren't cheering at football games.
