For those of you who use the gator bite...

Okay, I got mine in the mail a few minutes ago and already made a couple infant bows with my scraps that I had been saving. I really like it! I do have a few questions for you experienced gator users. I have read that many people likes dental floss for tying off the middle. I used 1/8 ribbon, but felt that it wasn't tight enough. What technique works best for you, especially on the bigger bows? Also, do you sew your bows after you have tied them? I try to sew as much as I can so I can have added security. My toddler can destroy something in 0 to 2 seconds. I am going to play around this evening to see what method of folding works best for the bows I use my gator bite on. Anyway, thanks for the help.

I like jewelry wire or elastic thread.

Yeah I like the elastic thread and I find that if I go around with it a couple of times it won't break and then I do sew them afterwards because I don't want my bows to be pulled apart. Happy bow making

I don't have a gator bite but i like the thick thread... I wrap and tie it with that... I used to use elastic thread but i don't like it anymore lol... I really want to buy a salon clip or gator byte lol... Hope you have lots of fun with it!

I use elastic cord, it's strong so you can pull it real tight & still be able to adjust your loops. I love my gator bite it makes the creases look so good.
