Default Has anyone tried this?

I got some socks from Wal-mart that had little bows sewn onto them. Well, I noticed tonight that after a couple of washes, they look awful. So that got me thinking about how I should sew little bows onto my daughter's socks to match her outfits. Has anyone done this? Do they hold up? What do you think would be a good size or style?

It works fine

For my older girls Ive made TONS of ribbon ruffle socks and theyve held up fine. I just throw them in a pillowcase or lingerie bag and wash them, then line dry
I think bows wouldbe fine too!

Thanks for the offer, but we have tons of those too: Have you seen the cute sock fairy tutu outfit on Etsy?

Hahaha! I should sew a set of bows onto Dh's socks and slip them in his drawer and see if he notices.

How about sew a piece of ribbon on the socks to make them exchangable (like exchangable headband)?

Michelle, that is a great idea! Would you put them on an alligator clip? Do you think it would hurt them if they fell on the clip?
