Hi girls! I was wondering if you make those teeny tiny infant bows that you stick on your little newborn's hairless head. . .do you make these or buy them in a pack? Also, what do you rec. customers using to apply them with? Do these sell for you? And should I sell them in a pack or say 3 or 5? Thanks!

Also, I have some satin ribbon and wanted to make them in the classic boutique style I make w/ the grosgrain. Having a terrible time getting them to look right. So I did a sort of 'basic stlye' bow, one bigger and then a smaller one and layered it. It's not terrible but I wanted to the boutique look! I'm using 1.5" ribbon. . .and was originally using the figure 8 fold. I'll post pics of what I managed later. Thanks so much!

Thanks love! I'll have to try that! Also sorry for all the questions! Do places like Michael's carry little re-sealable bags to sell them in? Thank you!!

Wal-Mart has those little plastic bags, too. K-y is what our hospital used and what they recommended to us. Some people use kayro syrup, but I just couldn't do it and K-Y worked great for us. I am not sure about a boutique style, but there is one I use that works great for satin. It has a cardboard template. I thought I got it on here, but I can't find it now. We are on the way out the door. I will look when we get back. I did find these:

Yes- they are in the jewlery section.

Thanks for the reminder- I have had requests at craft shows- I need to make up a few bags of them.

Hey I got your message, but am watching nephew and haven't had much of a chance to sit down. I found these cool instructions. Scroll down to the bottom and it has a free baby boutique bow set of instructions.

I would offer both sets of 3 and 5 and see what sells the best. You can always repackage later.

I am sure you already have these, though!

I make these and sell them on my website. I had a local hospital order 50 of them to test them out on the newborns, they use ky jelly.

Our hospital used KY Jelly as well. I'm sure it doesn't work for long term wear, but it perfect for sleeping newborns. You could also try tiny velcro pieces, too.

[quote=Littlecansofbeans;171897]The loops look like crap - the top right is much bigger.

It agree that it looks like crap. You would think the bow would look better since she's trying to teach other people how to make them.
