Attaching a flower to a Crochet Beanie Hat
I am needing to attach a flower to a crochet beanie hat...can anyone help??
Once I take the flower off the stem & piece it all back together (the layers of the flower), how do I attach it? Do I sew it to the beanie?? Do I add 3/8ths grosgrain to the flower & then attach it to the beanie??
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!
Re: Attaching a flower to a Crochet Beanie Hat
Hi! Typing one-handed, feeding baby- sorry! I haven't made the beanies, but I make flower clips so they can attach to crochet or reg. headbands. . .when I do that I just glue a ribbon covered alligator clip to the back of the flower. The clip will slip through the holes of the crochet. I guess it depends if you want it interchangable or not. If you want it permanent, I say go ahead and sew it. . .HTH!
