No, I did not paint the caps. I got them online at Design Originals. You can also find them pretty cheap thru ebay. Sometimes you may not find ALL the colors there, though. I had gotten a PM and replied to that person that I don't have FORMAL instructions, but I would be more than happy to answer questions and help out with making the necklaces. Just not really sure how much everyone knows and what questions they have. I will make up a supply list and post it, though.

I like to use the cateye beads on many of my designs...So far the best place I have found to buy these is an ebay store called AllredsDesign. They have very low prices and good quality beads. When I learned how to make these my instructions said to used beading wire to make the necklace. The only thing I don't like about that is my necklace is stiff. I use 24 gauge wire does anyone else have any other ideas on what I should use to keep the necklace from being to stiff?

I use Beadalon 49-strand sterling silver plated nylon wire. I use the .018. It is so flexible and has a 40-lb strength.
