Default Question about Lace Headband Length

I got some of that stretchy lace to make infant headbands. I wasn't sure if there is a standard length you make it or not? I was thinking I could measure it to be the same size as the knit headbands but I'm not sure if that is too big. If anyone knows I'd appreciate it. TIA!

i do 15" on mine and have never had anyone say they are too big or too small--but all mine where sold to babies about 6 mths or older--i can get a 15" on my 2 year olds head still and they are perfect on my 8 mth old twins too (and have been for about 2 months now)

i did make some about 13" that i am going to mark newborn

That's great advice. I've got some of the stretch lace too but I had no idea how long to make them. Adding to my enormous to do list by next weekend!!!

Thank you! That sounds like a good size.

I use fabri-tac or hot glue (a tiny bit). Then I either add a bow or flower (this is what I used to do). Now I add a piece of ribbon and glue the back so they can change the clips on the front.

I also cut mine to 15". I think I made some 14" for smaller babies.
