OMG!! That is too cute!! my DD just saw it and said that is what she wanted to be for Halloween, so I guess I am going to attempt it! It sounds to me like it is two pieces. But how did she do the top-- the yellow and orange? Just alternating? Or one on top of the other??

I would say maybe alternating yellow, orange, etc... Then you just move one color to the top. Hope that makes sense!
