Default help with cheer bows - fabric or ribbon?

Is the seqiun part or a cheer fabric or ribbon? The bow is two layers 1 1/2" grosgrain and 7/8" silver with sequin layered on top.

I have seen it as fabric but not ribbon. When you cut the fabric the edges curl in so how do they keep it flat?

It looks like this - ebay auction #320276536866
(Sorry - I haven't figured out how to put a direct link into a post. Someone could tell me that too.)
Thanks!

Lorraine had posted a how-to around here somewhere. Use Heatbond Lite on the size of grosgrain ribbon you need. I cut the sequin fabric and heatbond so when I iron on the heatbond and peel back the adhesive it's ready for the sequin fabric. Then went back with a rotary to make sure all the edges were even.

This is one of the sample bows I took. I will be making 13 of these! They loved it.

I bought the cheer bow instructions from NoBowNoGo. They are awesome and teach you how to make awesome cheer bows. They show how to bond all of the ribbon/ fabric together to make competition quality bows.

Have you had a chance to try them out yet? Do they seem easy to follow? Good pics and detailed instructions?

Lorraine, why don't you come out with a set of instructions for us on your cheer bows. I would buy them, yours always turn out so nice.

Some of the steps are unnessesary but it's easy to get around them. As far as showing you how to bond the fabric/ ribbon, they're great. That's really the only reason I needed instructions in the first place. For $5 it not a bad buy.

That is the only reason I would buy them too. I can make the bows but I am not good with the layering and bonding. I want to perfect that before I start selling them.
