I bought the instructions because I was curious. They were interesting.

That layout bow is really nice. Is that the 2 1/4" grosgrain on the bottom? I can't tell.

Bonding is cake you guys could do it no problem.... It takes longer for the iron to heat up than to add fusing to the sequin fabric, cut it and center it on your grosgrain.. I have done some that are 1/2 inch fabric on 7/8 inch ribbon and I have also done the ones on 1 1/2 or 2 inch ribbon... Now I will admit some of the bows used in competitions are very elaborate and do require extra time but the technique is still the same. I can't imagine that someones instructions should be more then a page long.

Thank you very much!! Yes, it's Black 2 1/4 on the bottom, Orange 1 1/2 and I used White 7/8 for sequins. I thought Lorraine did a great job of her simple explaination a while back. That's the only thing I went off of and it's worked great!

I'm glad I'm only making 13 bows with the sequins though. It's a bit of a pain But the squad bought 3 different styles of bows at 13 bows each it's going to be a nice profit!

When you have looked at the same bow 400 times it's a pain! Been there believe it or not. Up until a few weeks ago when I finally taught one of my employees how to fold a single layer, I folded every bow that went out of Yella Ribbon. It can get monotonous.

Honestly I hate doing layout bows. i charge extra for them!

Wow every bow?!?!? I only have 2 squads right now, plus craft show end of Sept and I have a local shop, plus etsy which is kind of on the back bunner right now. Along with the kids, the husband and the start of the addition on the house

Are you pretty busy all year or mainly during the summer getting ready for fall?

I figure after 13 of the layout bows (yep, I charged extra) I'll be happy it's a small squad! This is the first year I've done cheerleaders though. I didn't feel I was up to par last year. I have to say it's hard doing the same bow over and over. I made 7 of these during the kid's nap.

Where do the tails go on a layout bow? I like the style of that bow for cheer groups.

Thanks for information! I really appreciate it!

For my cheerbows- you will laugh, I sew them with dental floss. I want to make sure the don't come apart.
