Default How to attach fabric buttons to snap clips?

I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to attach faric covered buttons to snap clips, and/or a pony-o? Here's an example of what I'm asking about.

Thanks! Hot glue didn't seem like it would be secure enough!

I don't know when I used hot glue on mine- I ended up trying to take it off (and use it for a different bow of my daughters) and I had to tear the clip apart I could not get that sucker off for anything! My hot glue gun works great with ribbon and stuff but I have the really hot one and I use the glue sticks for fabric.
