Default paci clip woes

Okay I'm getting totally frustrated I have been making paci clips and they are super cute. The problem is attaching the snaps. I have the ones that you are supposed to hammer on..well it's always hit and miss. If you don't get both sides lined up perfectly it doesn't work. It constantly moves on me and is making me crazy!!!

What do you use on your paci clips to attach the paci?

I use the pearl snaps. There is a tool that I bought (at a garage sale) makes it a lot easier. Dritz Plier Kit Snap Fastener and Eyelet Product Detail -- CreateForLess

Items for Sale by sobluex*

this is a link to my dummy clips which i presume are called paci clips in the US forgive me if im wrong lol

I make mam and avent (dummies with a handle) clips

I use nickel free press studs, i did have a set of eyelet pliers but these are poop well, they work with the rolled stud but i cant get grip enough on the socket side
so i use the pliers for the rolled stud and a pair of mull grips for the socket side

hope that all made sense and hope even more ive got the right end of the convo and havent just made a complete idiot of myself!!!

I have a snap press (I bought it to use for my DD's cloth diapers I make but I use it for everything now). It's easy peasy. This is a site that sells them... The Snap Store Snap Press and Die Set (I bought mine via co-op though).

The snapsetters are great too.. I got one through a group buy... I had so much trouble with the snap press thingy I got at Walmart. Ruined sooooo many snaps because they did that same exact thing. The snapsetter eliminated all that. Sound like a commercial huh? lol

Oh my gosh how dumb am I?? I didn't even know they made those lol. Thank you so much ladies now I need to go shopping. Would it be carried at a fabric store? I was going to order one online but can't find a site that ships to Canada.
