Default Help with lining clips

I have been using hot glue to line my clips with ribbon. However, my 3 year old has a bad habit of putting things into her mouth. She gets the clippies all wet ant the ribbon comes right off the barrette. Does anyone else have this problem?

My only suggestion is to make sure that you are using a high temp gun and pressing the ribbon down onto the clip while the glue is still hot.

I actually do use a high temp glue gun (ask my poor burned fingers lol). It does the trick really well...until she puts them in her mouth. I keep reminding her not to put anything in her mouth except food. Hopefully she will stop.
Thanks.

I don't know what else to recommend. I use a high temp glue gun as well and haven't had a problem yet. Sorry.

It's hard when they don't just cooperate isn't it? lol My 1 year old is starting to not like anything in her hair. I thought I had trained her well by putting something in her hair all the time. They will grow out of it. My only suggestion is to just keep trying to not let her put them in her mouth. Any other glue would probably be too toxic to use.
