Default Mini Bow Hair Clips????

In the Hip Girl Boutique she sells mini bow hair clips. I'm sure these are very simple to make but I just can't get it to look right. Can anyone share instructions on how to make these. Thanks.

Michelle said that she did not make those mini bows. We have asked her the same question. She said she bought them already made like that so she could not help us out. I also have trouble getting the center to look so neat with the creases.

Thanks for the fast reply. Does anyone buy them from Michelle and resell them? If so, what do you sell them for (if you don't mind sharing)?

I know that Tiff has bought some from Michelle. She will give you the answer you are looking for.

Before I knew they were premade bows- I decided to figure it out. I make my own- and can do them so fast now- it doesn't bother me anymore. LOL! They are also my #1 seller right now.

Hit send to soon- was going to add a pic.

I use 3/8 ribbon 6 inches long. Fold in half, then fold in half again. Cross the ribbons over to the center- using the folds as guides for even bows. Then thread needle thru the center and wrap tightly. (I use dental floss) then use 1/8 or 1/4 to tie the center. Then hot glue to clippie.

I do make mine too, but michelle's are even smaller than the ones in your picture. she makes them small enought to put on a 30mm snap clip. Your bows are cute too.

With the amount that I am selling I have thought about ordering thru Michelle. I didn't know they were smaller- I may order no matter what!

If I only have several orders/day and really enjoy doing it, I'll make it myself.

If I'm far behind filling orders and have several craft shows comming up, I'd buy them (from me). After all, the cost of the clip is our time not the ribbon and plain clips.

I just got an order of xx thousands of rose and flower clips. Will add to my inventory today.

Michelle

Hi Sarah,

did you glue them to grosgrain ribbon or satin ribbon. For me, satin ribbon just don't hold very well.
Thank you~
