Default Pinwheels....grrrr! Any tips welcome!

I just tried a couple pin wheels and they looked like pooey!! Does anyone know of some good instructions I could buy or have any suggestions? I like them when they are a complete circle. Mine were so uneven and just looked awkward. I am beginning to get worried that I can't make bows at all.

I could not make a bow to save my life either until I bought the TOTTs from Ribbon Retreat. These instructions are great and they teach you how to make many different kinds of bows.

Have you tried these instructions? Free Hair Bow Instructions: pinwheel bow hairbows, free directions
I used to have the same problem and decided it was because I was making the loops too long for the width ribbon I was using.

I know the instructions are on here somewhere - I think Michelle did them, but I can't remember what she called it.
really cute--question--do you put the bows side by side or cross over?
