Default YoYo Question

Ok, I really like the look of yoyos on hair clips and headbands and I'm really keen to start making some.

My question is : how do you put a button or other type of embellishment onto the yoyo.

I've seen all the instructions on how to make the yoyo but they never include how to attach the button. Perhaps it is because it is just so simple but I just can't seem to work it out!

Do you sew the button on through the middle of the yoyo? What if I put another embellishment on that doesn't have holes to sew - do I just hot glue it on??

I'm sure this is a simple answer - but please help!

Thanks
Tennille

I have done a few... I used E6000, but I also used rhinestones as the centers... I'll attach a photo...

I have never seen these before... they're called yoyos?? Anyone know of any good instructions on these? What are they made of? They look interesting. All kinds of cool & interesting things pop up on this site.

Okay, been looking online... You can make hearts and flowers out of these too, I see. Very cool. On one site they mentioned a yo yo maker... Is that what you use, or can it be made with a sewing machine? Not that I won a sewing machine. Still like the look of them.

Hee Hee! Yes, they are called yoyos and you can buy these cute little gadgets that make them for you! They come in different shapes...heart/circle/etc...I got mine at Hancock Fabric...

Or you can follow these instructions for the circle ones...

Thank you, Lybby! Though my sewing leaves much to be desired, I just may be able to do that!

Thank you so much!! I knew I'd get some help here.

Lybby, that looks gorgeous, that's the kind of thing I'm looking at making but I'll probably use a button centre for my 2 year old.

Thanks again!
