Seam in headbands

I have never made anything with the knit headbands that you can add a piece of ribbon to the center of.

Do you all cover up the seam in the headband, or do you still leave that as the back? I guess I like the look of a smooth headband on the back of a babies head. Just want to make sure I am doing this right.

Yes, the cotton knit ones like you can buy from anywhere in a pack.

I do the same as Ronda - put a piece of ribbon over the seam and place the bow on top of that.
