OK I think I have to buy the cuttlebug - I want that for my hair!!!!! (Or maybe I should just buy hers?)

Someone mentioned high quality felt - I take it the AC Moore stuff would be the cheapy stuff, so where does one find better felt? I've never worked with it so this is new to me (and I guess really new since I don't even have the die cutter tomake the stuff anyway! LOL!)

LOL, believe me it will be a LOT cheaper to just buy the clip!!!! But if you are really into it, I have seen some wool felt at Joann's, but they only have 2-3 colors and they are all neutral. I've seen more felt online, you just have to do a search for wool felt and look around.

Totally agree, cut with die cuts...

From the look of it, she's using 100% wool felt. With the die cuts, it cuts *clean*. You won't need fray check or any kind of *treatment*....

The dies she uses, :

Bottom layer - Sizzix Flower Layers # 654979

2nd from the Bottom (prolly this) - Cuttlebug Flowers (the 3rd die from the top)

3rd from the Bottom - Same as the Bottom layer but smaller size (same Sizzix die # 654979)

4th & 5th top layers - Sizzix Flower Layers #654980

Thanks for this! I love her color combos and the charcoal grey is so pretty (thinking fall) - I have a charcoal grey wool purse that could use some embellishment - this may be it!

I think she might use a wool blend felt....I remember reading that in her shop.
They are so very pretty.

You're right, Leslie...I went and check in one of her listing, she uses blended felt (Material Used List) but I'm not sure the rest tho.

My big kick (sizzix) cuts felt, and does an awesome job! I use National non wovens brand of wool blend felt. I know you can find it online. My local JoAnns sells it by the yard as well. I buy mine at a local quilt shop. Someone else posted this link Prairie Point Junction Quilt Shop--Cozad, NE
I have not ordred from them. But looks like they are having a sale so I just might have to order. I would love to know if they are quick, and reasonably priced on their shipping. I have not used the 100% wool. I would love to.
