Okay, I saw the thread on Lake O' Hot Glue but the pictures have been deleted. Does anyone have pics? I'm going to attempt my first bottle cap and I don't want to mess it up. When you put the ribbon into the lake of hot glue, do you just lay a small amount of ribbon or does the ribbon run the entire length of the bottle cap? I'm thinking you just lay it down enough to attach it. But just want to make sure I have it right in my mind before I do this. I don't want to ruin a bottle cap.

Also, do you lay a button or something down on top of the ribbon on the underside of the bottle cap afterwards? Thanks.

Sandy

I just put a small amount of hot glue on the inside and then with a wooden popsicle stick I push it against the bottom. Then I fill the back of the bottle. Make sure your ribbon is straight that way when you attach it to your bow it will not looked all cockeyed. You can put a backing on your bottle cap or you can leave it like it is.
