hello ladies
I was surfing to see what I could find and I ran across this cool tutorial on how to make fabric buttons with out the kit...it is kinda cool if you ask me, I did not know you could do that with just plain ol' buttons....

great instructions - thanks for sharing. My favorite aunt used to cover bottlecaps and then sew them together and use them for hotpads. She passed away when I was 13 and I never learned how to make them and nobody had one left be the time I wanted to make my own. One more project for me but this one will have lots of sentiment attached. Thanks again.

Great tutorial but she has a disclaimer on there stating not to sell the crafts you make using her tutorials - I'm sure there is another tutorial out there telling you to do the same steps she does. Just wanted to point that out in case you didn't notice it - don't want any wonderful bow ladies to get in trouble!

I use this tutorial but it is w/ the kit.

I am just pointing this out...If you use her instructions and make your own buttons: you can sell them. It is not illegal the only thing that would be illegal is to sell her instructions as they are written. She may not want you to and if you feel it is wrong (don't do it) but you will not or can not get in trouble.
