I need covered button help!!

I got my buttons the other day (thank you, princess_stinkypants_mom!!) & I tried making the size 20 with the pellon for a "puffier" look & it didn't work with the pellon, so I just ended up with the material alone. Okay, no biggie, but when I made a size 24 button with the pellon, it made a huge obvious crease in my button!! What am I doing wrong here? Can someone please help me?

I just got my buttons today! I haven't covered any yet so I'm afraid I'm no help. I did want to ask what pellon is. Is it similar to batting?

Sorry-I haven't ever tried it, but I'm sure someone will know the answer...

Not sure, but If I were going to that I would cut the pellon to fit just the front of the button and glue it place, and then cover the button with just the material. Try that and see if it helps.

I should clarify, I don't think it's the pellon that's doing it. I can't seem to crease the sides of the button evenly. It all seems to want to go to one spot. Does that make sense?

i dont use pellon or anything else bc i have found that if it is too thick--you will have a hard time getting the back on. is the button dented? i have pushed too hard to get the back on a few times that i dented the button.
