Default Question about korkers

I noticed that after I made a red korker my dowel turned pink and when I went make a white korker it made it turn pink . So do I have to keep the dowels color seperated? I guess I do LOL

Hmmm that is odd. I have never had the rods turn colors. Are you spraying something on them? I have had the same rods for over a year now and use the sameones all the time. What brand of ribbon are you using? Strange

That happend to me too with red and blue the first time I ever used them. I did spray starch on them so I wonder if that did it.

Mine always do that. I have dowels for each color. (mostly the primary colors)

It must be the starch. I tried starch one time and it stained a couple of my ribbon colors so I don't use it anymore on any of my bows. Plus I had a lady ask me one time if I used starch because her daughter had a tendency to put them in her mouth and she wasn't going to buy any that had starch on them.

I haven't had that happen, I don't spray anything on mine while they are on the rods though. So maybe spray them after you bake them and take them off the rods.
