Default Magnet tiles

does anyone know how to make the tiles like these? where to get the tiles from? i want to make some w/ the alphabet on them for my little one to play with. i thought about find rubs for scrapbooking and putting them on them and the sealing them. what do you seal them w/?

you can buy the clay and make them. I had sealed them with just acryllic paint. But now that I have found modge podge I would use their "shiny". I would also make sure to put the magnet on with E6000. And make sure it dries the whole 24 hours.

The magnets are cheapest at Hobby Lobby

My sis in law and I actually make the second ones. You can get a bag of marble at a craft store I got mine at Hobby Lobby for like 6 dollars. You get a ton! And you attach a heavy duty magnet. Which I got at Michaels. And then you take your 1" hole punch to any image or sticker and adhere it to the marble with clear tacky clue. You can add photo too! The possibilities are endless.

We also buy the gift card tins from Michael's and they stick right inside it. Its the perfect gift box.

For the tiles, just buy a sheet of the 1 inch at Lowe's or HD. All you have to do is cut each tile out of the sheet it comes on. Very easy.

I think that's a great idea and would make great gifts!

yes! You put the pic on with the clear tacky glue and then attach the magnet with hot glue or whatever your prference is.
