Default Re: Fabric covered buttons questions

Since we're on this do you know what size to cut the fabric? I've had the fabric for a while now, but I'm not sure how much bigger than the button to cut the fabric. Thx

another question. Where can I get cute, hip, modern fabric that has small enough designs for smaller buttons?

as far as how big to cut it--if you buy a pack of the dritz buttons from joanns or hobby lobby--on the back is a pattern that you can use. i have done so many of them that i dont use a pattern. it is really something just have to play with.

ali--look for the japenese fabrics--they have all the cute things. i mostly do embroidered buttons so i dont really know of great fabrics.
