Default Help for Korkers!

I am really having problems with Korkers. I made a clip for my daughter, and it just kinda flopped on each side, not what I thought it was going to be. Any suggestions??

If you attach a picture , it'll be easier for people to see the problem.

Mine did that at the beginning. Try cutting your lengths shorter. Here's what I do: use a 5/8ths dowel, wrapping the ribbon tightly around the dowel so that there is no spacing, spraying it w/ starch, cook @ 325 for 25 minutes, cutting them at 3", tie them tightly, & spray w/ a stiffner....that is basically how I do mine. Post a picture & we can see what's going on! Thanks! & Good luck!

I had this problem when I first started making them, I was cutting them to long. It also helped when I started spritzing them with water before "baking" they were a little crisper and bounced a little more. HTH

I actually cut mine about 2 inches and sew mine together. I put them one by one on a needle and run a thread through them several times once I have them all on. I dont wrap them at all.
