Default tutu wands?

So I've seen a few post on how to make the pom pom part of the wand...But how do you all attach the rod? Seems like glue wouldn't hold it? Thanks!

you actually glue the stick through the centre of the pom pom. I think there was a tutorial put up by one clever lady here. If you do a search you should find the thread.

I just had an idea about how to make these.. Instead of using a dowel rod you could use a plastic balloon stick. They have these at our local Dollar Tree and I just bought one for my daughter. The plastic sticks have the attatchment at the end that you put the balloons on. You could put extra holes in the top and it would be really easy to attatch your tulle ball to. I was thinking about using this because I never really like to use dowels for things I'm making for kids, They scare me!! I think I'll try one of these sometime this week.

How do you make the ball part of it? That is what I can't figure out.
