Question Real Softball/Baseball Flower Flip Flop Tutorial

Hello ladies,

Has anyone seen the cute flip flops that have flowers with petals made up of real cut up baseballs or softballs?

I figure I will just take an x-acto knife to a ball and figure it out. However, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask if someone has seen a tutorial out there for the best way to do this?

I'm trying to think of spring, warmer weather and softball/baseball

Thanks!

These came out a few years ago, here's a basic tut working w/bb's.

http://mysalvagedtreasures.blogspot....l-flowers.html

But I found them very hard on little feet. Switched to imitation leather fabric and cut a flower shape, lined it with fleece, added the red stitches w/sewing machine and put the flower on the side of the flip flop instead. Put a flower on a band and wear as a bracelet; or just pin one to a bb hat or shirt.

These flip flops have the red threading still on them. I think they are more recognizable as baseball/softball flip flop flowers that way. Still haven't found much on it. Will probably just experiment on my own Thank you for your help though!!!

I actually make these. They are very hard to cut, my husband cuts them with a press. I have a website sassyflaircreations.com and www.facebook.com/sassyflaircreations if you don't want to tackle this on your own. I'm in Illinois too.

I actually make these baseball flower flips flops. They are not easy to do and the exacto knife is very dangerous. My husband made a press to cut the petals so they are uniform in size. I sell them at www.sassyflaircreations.com and have a Facebook page www.facebook.com/sassyflaircreations
If you like you can contact me there or place an order if you don't want to tackle this yourself
