Default can korkers get wet???

I am wondering if anyone has had a korker bow get soaking wet? like on flip flops? Do they stay curled or do they go flat once they have been drenched?

I'm pretty sure they can get wet, it's the heat that curls them. As long as you don't apply heat to straighten, they should remain curly.

My girls have gotten tons of their Korker Bows wet, usually when I forget to take them out and they jump in the pool. They haven't lost any of their curl. HTH.

That's good news! I was thinking about testing one out, but it takes so long to make the darn things curly...I was afriad i'd ruin it. I have noticed a few kinds of ribbon I have tried to bake didn't hold their curl very well for some reason...I dunno if i needed to bake them longer or what. It just got me thinking about it too much....and was curious how permanant the curl is........you girls answered my question. Thanks!!!

Yes, they stay curly. The first time that dd got in the bathtub without taking out her bow, I about freaked! But at least I know now. :-)

I ahve never thought about starching them before, b/c of the chemical aspect. I am wondering if I starch my flip flop ones they may stay together better???? Suggestions please.....
