Default %*&@ Korkeers!

Ugh, I'm so frustrated! This is how I cut my korkers, I get several rows of korked ribbon, line them up on my cutting mat, then I take a straight edge ruler and press it down at the 2 inch line (or 3 or 4), I then use my rotary cutter and cut along the edge of the ribbon. It never fails, my cuts never come out evenly and I'm not sure why! When I put the cuts in my korker box it's about 1/4" difference between the cuts. Can anybody give me any advice as to how to get my cuts even?

I cut mine one at a time so I don't know how to make it faster.

Every time I use my woodburner to make cuts, it makes the cuts all funky. What am I doing wrong? I try to work fast.

I cut my by hand about 3 or 4 at a time. The cuts vary but its never so much that it makes a difference or that you can tell.

I use my metal ruler as a guide, and inbetween cuts I wipe (very quickly) on a wet towel to get any gunk off the tip of the burner! HTH

I cut mine 1 at a time. Then after I put them together I snip the longer pieces to match the rest of the bow. It's time consuming but I'm always happy with the end results.
