Default really poofy korkers?

Ok, how do you do it? I think I need to spray mine with something when I'm done, and that I probably don't have enough korkers in my bow, but geeeshhhh, some of your bows are SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

I can make mine poofy, I just need to master them being evenly centered.

I just use a lot of korkers or spikers and after it is made I spray Stiffen Stuff all over it and then hang it upside down to dry.

Thanks so much, Jill! I think that would make life easier. It is tough trying to tie those puppies up and keep them wrangled.

I think the other thing is, you can not use tooo long korkers or they fall down. once you get your korkers tied you can pull on the ends to even them out. I just play an dplay with mine till they r just where I want them then I put them on the clip and spray them! hope that helps

I spray mine with hairspray before I bake them. Then when I tie them, they are nice and poofy.

This is another reason I like to sew mine. As I am threading them on, when I think I am close to enough, I can squeeze them together at the knotted end of the thread and see if there really are enough. When I think there are enough, I usually add five or six more just to be sure! After I tie and attach to the clip, then I spray with starch, but not too much. I like the individual korkers to have some 'bounce'.

I have not tried the korker box yet, although I would like too. It is on my list of things I would like to buy. I have just started sewing mine and I think they come out much fuller and puffier than when I used to tie them together. When I tied them they always seemed to look flat no matter how many pieces I added. jmo
