Default Glue to use for shabby flowers & other flowers

Hello all,
When making foe headbands what type of glue would u suggest? I thinki I have not been using high temp glue gun so I want to try that. But I am afraid the glue will make the head band hard and not flexible where the embellishments and flower(s)are glued . E6000 is stringy and probably more expensive and thicker. A bit harder to work with.
I haven't tried sticky circles yet but to have thr correct size sticky circles for every project would get expensive. I am a bit new at this so learning as I go. However, with ur help I can save some supplies and not make as many mistakes. Let me know what type of glue u use for what use and I would be so thankful. What type of glue do u use for putting small resins on ur clips. I don't like thr stringy of some glues. Also I want there to be no change the resins will come off?
Looking forward to hearing from u ladies.
Amy from Canada

I sew my headbands together and then glue the flowers with a high temp glue gun. I add a felt circle to the back after I glue the flow to the elastic.

As far as resins go I usually use high temp hot glue. Occasionally, I will use E6000 if the resin doesn't have a large surface area to stick to. I put a tiny bit of hot glue to help it stick while the E6000 is drying. I avoid E6000 if I can because it is so messy and smelly.

Thank u for the info. I actually use the smelly stuff for my glue projects but I find it doesn't smell. I think I bought a special kind that had no door as it was a bit more and the packaging is different then the regular. Yes, good idea. I use hot glue to keep thr items still to dry.i quite often use alligator clips to clip on as well. Thanks. Anyone else have any suggestions? I am learning.
