Default Better than wool felt?

I love felt, actually I work mostly with felt but since I'm allergic to wool I start to use acrylic most of the time, but acrylic felt doesn't have the texture and the colors that I would like to use for my flowers, so I start to looking for something similar to wool felt. Finally I found FLEECE and I fallow in love with this material. Look the results, these flowers can be in headbands, hats, pins, etc.

Love the pics of all the little flower combos! The colors are so beautiful and bright....they almost look like hor d'oeuvres!

very cool! what kind of fleece and since fleece is so much thicker than felt, does that make a difference?
I am getting ready to start making felties and haven'tbeen sure where to even get wool felt, but I have a ton of different kinds of fleece.

I'm in the same boat you are....I can't use wool felt because I'm allergic to wool. I have seen the fleece sheets sold in the same areas as the felt sheets, is this what you are using?

I use fleece too because I am allergic to wool and didn't like the acrylic felt. I buy my fleece by the yard and find that there is a pretty good selection. You can find some interesting prints too, but I mainly like solids. Although tie dye fleece is cool because then depending on where you cut, you can have a whole different color combo. (but I do love tie dye, so...)

The fleece I have is thicker than the acrylic felt, but I use a Sizzix to cut it and it works fine with the Bigz and Originals dies. And the fleece is SO SOFT!! Perfect for baby items!!

No NIcole probably you're talking about the acrylic felt, look in the Fleece area is close by the felt.

I can't even find a store that sells the wool felt, so I will try working with some of the fleece I already have.
