Default When to Starch Bows?

I made a bow and sprayed it with starch but haven't put the center on it. Do you starch after the ribbon center is on it? Or before? What about with surround loops? Do you put it all together then starch, or starch each individual piece?

Here is a tutorial on how I make and bake the bows.

I spay and bake before I glue and put the bows together.

Hope that helps

It is much better to starch them before assembly. It makes such a big difference.
(At first I starched them after the whole bow was finished and everything glued together.)

I think different techniques work for all of us. For me, I starch my bows after assembly, then bake them.

It depends what I'm making. I usually starch before assembling though.
