Default infant bows??

What do you attach them to?
I have been making my oldest dd's bows since she was about 1 so i never had to make infant bows.. and i never get asked to make infant ones.. most people want headbands. now that i have a little tiny one(almost 1 month) i want to make her something besides headbands..

I love infants bows. I make 2in pinwheels as my infants bows. You can check them out here: Infants Bows. I apologize in advance for my poor picture quality. Ive been meaning to work on those.
Anyway, I attach them to alligator clips and small barrettes (1in). My daughter is 9months old and her hair is now thick enough for the barrettes. Yay!

i make small bows and attach them on a snap clip. it doesnt fall out of the baby's hair. i also heard that if you make a bow you can add karo syruo and that helps hold it in almost like gel.

My daughter is 2 months old and bald. I use karo syrup right now. When my other dd was small I used tiny snap clips.

Okay so where do you buy your snap clips. I bought a pack at walmart and tried to cover them but my ribbon wasnt wide enough but the next size ribbon didnt look right.

Michelle (hipgirl) has some on her site...her 30 mm are perfect for 3/8" ribbon. I just do a tiny bow or small appliqué on mine so I don't weigh them down at all.

Buy the 30 mm snap clips from Michelle...she ships fast and the clips are thin enough to cover with 3/8 and no metal shows. Plus I have found the quality to be very, verygood. Just an FYI, once in a while(maybe less then 10%) the center bar on the clip is bent the wrong direction. I discovered they snap closed, you hear the snap, but when you look at it the bar is going down instead of up. I had to resend several I had already sent in an order, because I didn't discover it before I filled the order. Oops live and learn glad the customer was really nice about it.
