Question Bottlcap Help Please

Hi, I am making bottlecap jewelry and I am having problems with sealing the image. I have used several sealers and can't find one that works well, I have used Aleene's Paper Glaze and it is supposed to dry clear, but it dries kind of cloudy and then the image looks cloudy, I have used Inkssential Glossy Accents from Hobby Lobby and it dries clear and is fine to use on earrings but when it is dry (even after 3 or 4 months) if you scrape a fingernail across it it leaves an indention so you can't use it for keychains or anything that will get alot of use and also if a drop of water gets on it it turns back to a white glue. I bought some epoxy dots but it also blurs the image, I bought some caboshons and used the glossy accents under it to glue it in and it didn't get dry underneath started making the image run (even put several coats of modge podge), and it also lifted in some spots after 2 days of drying.
What do I use to seal the caps?

I use ET Lite, it really is the best long term resin. It takes a little while to master it, but it is worth it.
