Default How big should I make my loop for my hair bow holder?

I made a trip to Hobby Lobby and found a wood cut out to make my daughter a hair clippie holder, I was wondering if someone could tell me from experience or estimate how big to make the loop I intend to hang it on the wall from?

I attached a picture of the exact Froggy Wood Cut I bought from Hobby Lobby today, (I found the picture on an Esty shop)I did not make or create the bow holder in the attached!!! So no credits or ownership to me for that creation! But I am curious how big I should make my loop for that frog to hang on her wall

Thank you!!

Play around with different lengths of ribbon until you find a length that looks pleasing to you. You don't have to hang the frog up to decide, just lay it flat on the table and pull the ribbon up into a U shape (to represent where it will be hung over a hook or nail), then adjust the ribbon until you are happy with the results, cut, seal the ends and attach to the frog how ever you want.
That is such a cute little frog and will make a very cute bow holder!
