Just curious, who wears the big bows?

I'm curious as to what areas of the country wears the big bows? I'm in Texas, where we do everything big and I've never seen a little girl with big hair bows before. I've lived in San Antonio, Waco and Austin and I vist Dallas and Houston frequently. I know they sell like hotcakes on ebay so someone's buying them. Is it a pageant thing or just in certain areas of the country?

we are in texas to and my little one does big boutique bows, now my 8 yr old is a little more reserved, i have to make h er wear big bows, shes more into headbands, and the toddler bows and clippies!

We are in Texas as well and we don't do those huge bows either. The biggest thing I have made for one of my daughters was a 5 1/2 inch korker/firecracker bow and she wore that on one ponytail.

Are you in a big city, medium city or small town?

I'm in Houston and we love big bows here. I'm in a playgroup with about 20 moms. Out of the mom's with girls about 1/2 of us make our baby girls wear bows as big as their heads. Of course once they can pull them out we 1 by 1 switch to smaller bows until the are a little older.

We live on a ranch and we go back and forth between the small town where our girls attend school and the city where we do dance.

I'm in a very large playgroup of about 115 parents in San Antonio and none of us do the big bows. Then again, most of our members (with a few exceptions, including me) are Texas transplants so maybe that has something to do with it, hmmm.

we are in a small town of like 700+

A lot of little girls wear boutique bows in the little school my girls attend. They average about medium to small sizes.

My nieces live in the city and they wear matching bows everytime they leave the house. My SIL never misses a craft show and is always buying tons of bows.

I live in an itty bitty small town in Louisiana and my daughter wears the big bows. About half of my customers like bigger bows. But I am from Houston, and that might have something to do with it. I also might be rubbing off on my customers!!!
