Looking closely at it, it looks like she uses a double heart die & folds it in half for each petal. That is how it is so full or fluffy looking.
If you have a die that would cut a rounded edge you could also make a triangle of fabric doubled over & round the edges.
Just a thought.

When you put the flower layers together (using the pattern the previous poster shared) they just naturally sort of stand up like that. I've made plenty of these using the same instructions posted and they are so easy and fun!

sorry I compleely forgot about this thread...I have the same link as posted..easy flower to make...very pretty..I think it's the center button that makes it stand out!
