Default How to photograph ribbon options for website?

I am wondering if anyone can give me tips on how to photograph many ribbon options for customers to choose from for my website. I've seen other sites where the ribbon is lined up neatly in rows and then numbered. How do I go about doing something like this? Any tips/help are greatly appreciated.

Anyone? Is there a better board I can post on that might have some tips?

If you make the photo and send it to me, I can put the numbers on it for you.

Some get promission to use digital color cards from the ribbon suppliers.

Thanks, I know how to do that in photo editing software. It's getting the actual photo that I have questions about. I have quite a lot of ribbon choices and am wondering if people who have done this type of layout take several different photos and turn it into one photo somehow. Sorry if that doesn't make sense. It's the best way I can describe it.

My ribbon is from many different suppliers so unfortunately this isn't an option for me.

I would rather do several different photos and maybe turn it into one photo.
This way it is easier to change the colour range later and you do not have to take photos of all your ribbons again.
At least that is how I would do.

Here's how to "assemble" different pictures as a color chart:

The tutorial is for printing bottle cap images. If you copy paste the individual ribbon image to template, you'll get a color chart.

Thanks

I am struggling to do the same thing. I thinking of using a template of some sort to create a ribbon "sampler" that I can either post online or print out. Thinking of using a template like they do for the square pendant images and insert snap shots of my ribbon in the template. Would love to hear what you decide to do
