Default Trick or Treat bags

Hello! I am thinking that for Trick or treat in my neighborhood I was going to make a small bow on an alligator clip then attach it to a bow card and the place in a bag with my business card and add candy and hand that out for trick or treat to the little girls. Does that sound like a good idea? Does anyone have any tips on what type of bow to make I was going to do solid white then I thought with Thanksgiving maybe I should do a Thanksgiving bow OR a turkey clippie(but that would take a while to make that many) Any advice on what type of bow to make and how to place them should I use trat bags with a halloween theme or just a zip loc bag thanks!

You could do pink or purple, those are usually the colors that little girls go crazy over. remember, you have to pay for all the supplies and your time, that you are giving away.
Keep it simple... you could just give bow for the girls, instead of bows and candy.

Great idea, but I agree - keep your costs down. You have to think of this as marketing/promoting your bows, and you want to reap a return benefit equal to or greater than your expenditure on the "trick or treat hair bow promotion" --that's the name I would give it in my books, and keep track of the supply costs used in the bows :-) Even when starting small, you have to think of the big picture!

Thank you both for the replies and the advice. I will keep it simple and do a simple bow with my business card. I usually pass out Candy at my mom's since their neighborhood is better for lots of kids so I am thinking I will just throw it in with hers. Any advice on an inexpensive place to get ribbon? Thanks!

I agree a simple bow is best Or you could just put a business card and candy.
