Default chunky toddler necklaces

Seems like they just instantly got hot. They really are adorable, has anyone made any? I was going to order some beads but I am not sure how to put them together. Do you string them on elastic thread? Use a closure? I also noticed that most use spacer beads that I am not sure exactly where to get them. And last but not least, how much have you seen them selling for? Thanks for any input ladies.

I made some for my DD. I used wire, for jewelry, not sure of the name. Got it from HL. I have seen that most use the toggles for the ends. And most that I have seen have been over $20.

I have just started making them, and I also used wire...the standard type you would use for making adult jewelry.

I prefer the lobster clasp over the toggles.

$20+ is a reasonable price, if you string the whole 18-20" length of the necklace...and calculate how much those beads cost you.

It seems like i have just been seeing them for about a month and BOOM they are everywhere. My granddaughter loves necklaces so I am going to try them. Haven't done beading in years though so I hope I can do it right.

The beads are expensive which is why people are charging $20-30 for finished necklaces.
