Default headbands from elastic by the yard

I have seen several different ways to make the skinny elastic headbands from elastic by the yard. I have seen gluing the ends together, sewing the end together and placing the ends on sticky felt circles. I have not had much luck with sewing them. Would anyone be willing to share their favorite method for making the headbands. Also, the best method for making the skinny bands for interchangable clips. TIA

For the older girls, you just tie a knot and leave a tail about 3/4 to one inch. I have not had good lucl gluing the ribbon - it doesn't seem to hold. I usually hand sew them.

I wholesale skinny elastic as well as the skinny elastic headbands (finished with 1" felt circles). I hot glue the circles together, with the elastic sandwhiched between the felt circles and I find it works just fine.

Great tutorial. I use the same method. I find by gluing the elastic to one side of the felt "sandwhich", it makes it so much easier to glue the other piece of felt and stick the whole together. The only thing I do different is I use two pieces of felt, and then glue the bow, flower, etc to the headband.
