Unhappy bottle cap problems

I have been trying and trying to make bottle caps. I have printed my own images and have used stickers. I have tried sealing the images with mod podge and tried doing it without, but most of my caps come out looking like the resin mixture has leaked under the images and soaked the paper.
Please tell me what I am doing wrong. Do I need to mod podge the under side of the image and just glue them down or cut out the picture and mod podge the edges?
Thanks for any ideas!

Please help!
If nothing else, how do the premade apoxy dot things work? Do they hold up? Are they expensive? where can I get them wholesale?
Thanks!

Mine were doing the same thing. I just started pushing the edges down really well with my finger a apply mod podge(a lot round the edges. Every now and then it still happens, but not very offten.
As for the stickers, I cant really help because I did not like them. I have heard others say to make sure you get good quality ones because some dont stick well and others yellow after time.
HTH!

Mod podging when they are in the cap works best but occasionally you will still get some leakage. I have found that if I buy the top of the kodak line of photo paper "ULTA" I don't have to mod podge. I still can have one or two in a large batch that might discolor but not enough to do the whole mod podge step.

I use the epoxy seals. I put it over the cut out image, press them together real good and then crazy glue (the only thing that works for me!) to the bottle cap. HTH!!

I bought some epoxy dots to use about 6 monthes ago. I forgot all about them and I came across them the other day. several of them had a yellowed look. Is that normal? I let my girls use them, they didn't care that they had a yellow tint to them.
I had bought them from Hobby Lobby, I don't know if was a bad batch or if what. I have decided to try it again (bought online), but don't know if I will be brave enough to sell them (in fear of them yellowing too!)

I'm not sure I understand the problem... the resin is going through the paper?

I always print my images through Walgreens (sometimes the color is off but it's the easiest way for me). I use the Xyron sticker maker place the image on the cap, rub it down pressing into the cap. Then I apply the resin to just the surface of the image. I don't go over the sides otherwise it runs. With the xyron sticker permanet adhesive I don't worry about adding it to the sides. Hope that helps.

I print mine on glossy photo paper. I bought it at the Dollar try for $1 with 20 sheets in a pack. Then I put an epoxy sticker over the image, then glue it with e6000

I have a question for you all! I am just now starting to work with bottle caps. I know how to attach them, but my problem is with the printing. I bought the images, but I am not sure how to print them. I know I need them on photo paper and was actually going to take them to Walgreens to have them printed, but HOW to I set them up so that they come out right? I would greatly appreciate anyone's help with this. Thank you.
