Default newbie korker question

how many strands of ribbon does it take to make a really round korker bow? the few that i've done look pretty sad i'm beginning to get discouraged . is there anything else that is done to make them really round? tia!

I usually use at least 35-40 pieces. I like the look of the finished korkers better when they are sewn together rather than when I tryed to tie them. HTH

thank you! that helps a ton! i was tying AND not using nearly enough pieces! there's hope for my korkers yet!

Do a board search for "how to make round korkers" and you'll find lots of threads with great tips. I don't make them (yet!), but it sounds as if most people are happiest with they way they look (and keep their shape) when they've been sewn.

Here's a tut for sewn korkers that I found in one of the threads--it's Method #3.
